Dress Code
There was a lengthy discussion on the Board's decision to relax the dress code. Strong opinions were heard on both sides of the issue.
The Board called for a ten minute break in the meeting. During this break the Board gathered in the Oak room to consider the opinions.
The General Membership meeting was called back to order and the Board announced the following motion:
Board of Director, Sullivan, motioned to rescind the Board's previous house rules change related to denim and to adhere to the house rules as currently published in the green book. Wilson seconded. In an attempt to unite the membership, Sullivan amended the motion and added that the Board will send out a ballot to the general membership to allow denim apparel in the Terrace, pool, and tennis spectator area.

French proposed that the Board develop language for the ballot mentioned above. King seconded, the motion carried.

State of Food Service
Mr. Gary French gave a power point presentation on the results of the recent food and beverage survey. There were 170 survey's returned. The survey helped clarify areas in need of improvement. With 45 days, the Board of Directors will have an improvement plan. Management is also addressing these areas as our continued goal is to provide members an excellent dining experience at the Club.
